4.3 - Submission and Publication Overview

To submit, publish and upload a document perform the following:

  1. Log in to https://admin.medicines.ie/admin/login
  2. In the medicines list, click on the name of the medicine you wish to update
  3. Click on the “SPC”, “PIL”, “Educational Material” or "Additional Communications" tab for the medicine to update your chosen document
  4. Fill in the relevant fields on the form (See following sections of this document for details)
  5. Click “Save & Update"

    When "Save & Update" is clicked the following occurs:

    1. The submitted changes are saved
    2. The submitted changes to the entry are immediately implemented
    3. If the medicine is public, the implemented changes are immediately displayed on the website
    4. An automated email notification is sent to the submitting user notifying them of the change
